In response to New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo’s mandate that all essential businesses must provide for the health and safety of their employees during the COVID-19 crisis, Chautauqua County, the County of Chautauqua Industrial Development Agency (CCIDA), the Chautauqua Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC), Jamestown Community College (JCC), and the local foundations have teamed up to provide 50/50 matching grants to businesses throughout Chautauqua County.

Six companies will share in a total of $400,000 in grant money available to produce N95 masks and manufacture ventilators.
Open for Small Businesses
The Washington Prime Group and Partners create the Open for Small Businesses Initiative. As many small businesses have been closed during the Coronavirus pandemic, these local entrepreneurs are increasingly finding it difficult if not impossible to currently pay operating expenses such as payroll, insurance, utilities, loan interest, inventory and, of course, their rent.
