Carol Rasmussen

Provided overview of resolutions that have to do with OCR grant. Gave overview on how OCR works/their process. Reviewed Jamestown Container Corporation – purpose, project, cost, fee breakdown, term, job creation and retention, and acceptance/agreement with the Village of Falconer. Are there any questions?

Rich Dixon

As you all know, Dow Craft owns a big chunk of land right there that is pretty contaminated. For years they had an LLC that took care of it but they sold it to Jamestown Container years ago and about 3-4 years ago that LLC dried up and Jamestown Container was on the hook for remediation. So hopefully this money will be a stake in the ground for them to stay.

Carol Rasmussen

There is a lot of inside repairs that couldn’t go on because of that.

Mike Metzger

Any further discussion? Gary can you please move New Business A please?

Gary Henry

Any development around the airport that we can encourage, like Advance Products, its great news. We have an airport that is struggling right now. A tremendous boost to our airport would be if we could channel more industry up in to that area. It makes me feel great to know we just boosted Advanced Products cause they are on the adjacent property.

Mark Geise

Jay you are exactly right. It’s something we’ve been working on. As of right no, we are working on a high level strategic plan for the airports to kind of think outside of the box. If you’re familiar with Girts Road, the sere stops right at Jamestown Advanced products and we are looking at getting a quote on what the cost would be to extend the sewer down to that other parcel and that would open that up. We’ve had a lot of people look at without the sewer on that parcel and it’s just another challenge.

Mike Metzger

Excellent point Jay. Any other business to come before this board? Hearing none, this meeting is adjourned.

Meeting adjourned at 11:42 a.m.
